Suburbians always seem to make fun of us condo/highrise dwellers because for the life of them they can’t understand why ANYONE in his right mind would pay Homeowners’ (HOA) fees! I understand their argument- you pay a mortgage already and on top of it you have to pay extra fees to some “association”.Let me explain why I have no problem with HOA fees by using my own experiences living in condos and highrises in Downtown areas. I admit that it does sting just a little bit writing out that check every month, and in no way am I suggesting that condo fees are always a good thing to pay.
Maybe you did not notice but instead of using the words phrase “home buyer” I chose real estate buyer. Things have really changed over the last few years and going forward there will be more renters and fewer buyers.
